The history of the Marietta Country Club has an origin that can be traced back to 1851 and is deeply entwined with the history of Marietta, GA. it was originally established in 1915 and in 1990 moved to its current location near Kennesaw Mountain. It is located about 10 minutes west of I-75 and is located close to many shopping and dining options. The neighborhood is a short walk to Mt. Paran Christian School and a short drive to the Kennesaw Mountain State Park.
The Marietta Country Club originally opened with an 18-hole golf course designed by Robert Cupp. In 2005 an additional 9 holes were added along with a renovation of the clubhouse. The club also features excellent facilities that offer many fitness opportunities. Some of the options available to club members include the use of the tennis complex, aquatic center, fitness facilities, on-site Yoga instruction and a menu of massage services ranging from Sports Massage to Swedish Therapy.
