If you are looking for a beach without the travel, Acworth Beach is the ideal location for a family staycation. Located at the northern shoreline of Lake Allatoona in Acworth, Ga, Acworth Beach offers sand, swimming areas, picnic areas, and playgrounds. Take Beach Street in Acworth straight to the entrance of Cauble Park to get there.There is a ten dollar parking fee for the park, but only for weekends, holidays, non-Acworth residents, and from 8:30AM until 6:00PM. Parking at other locations and taking the trails to Cauble Park is also an option.

The beach does not have lifeguards, but does have showers and a bathroom with changing station for babies. Pavillions, a gazebo, and a beach house is for rent with advanced reservations unless nobody has claimed the facility for the day. The “beach house” has a kitchen, dining area, restrooms, and a conference room. There is also a grill, outlets, and lights for the pavilions that will hold up to eighty people.

Fishing at Cauble Park is great for families. Crappie, carp, bullheads, bluegill, sunfish, catfish, and bass are able to be caught at the dock, but a fishing license must be in-hand.

Other events at the park throughout the year are a Flag Day Ceremony, Veterans Day Ceremony, various concerts, egg hunt and fireworks for the Fourth of July.

All facilities at Acworth Beach are subject to rules and regulations set forth by the City of Acworth.
