The City of Cumming, Georgia is hosting the most for the Fourth of July during the COVID pandemic. Cumming will have a combination of a parade and fireworks to display, unlike many of the other cities that have chosen to abstain from events. The morning parade will travel a longer distance to follow distancing guidelines set by the CDC. The fireworks will occur at 9:30 PM at the Cumming Fairgrounds without any fee for parking nor admission.

East Point, Georgia

In addition, the City of East Point, located in the perimeter, will have virtual fireworks celebration that anyone around the world can join. The fireworks will be seen through a smartphone app called Total AR. The smart phone is held to the sky, and virtual fireworks will be seen through the window of your phone. The app must be used anytime between 9 PM and 12 AM on July 4. The entire performance is 10 minutes long.

Woodstock, Georgia

If you are located in Northern Metro Atlanta, the City of Woodstock is having a live fireworks display. The viewing areas will follow social distancing guidelines with spacing between attendees at Woodstock Square. CDC guidelines are strongly recommended.
