E-mail Notification
The Cobb County School District sent out an email on June 25, 2020 informing the parents of the students about the 2020 – 2021 school year announcing the first opening of schools since the shutdown in March, 2020. The message states that there will be two options for student education. There will be an option to attend classes in person, and another option to continue distance learning at home. These options apply to all grade levels and all schools in the County. Parents must log into a platform called ParentVUE to choose which method they would like their children to be educated by. This choice must be made between July 2 and July 10.

Student Learning Options
Parents electing to continue distance learning must commit to the remote learning environment. Parents will need to verify that the students have access to adequate resources such as the internet and devices for the distance learning model.
The face-to-face learning model will have different requirements of the students while attending school. Social distancing enforcement, hand sanitizer use, and strongly-encouraged mask wearing will be enforced. There will be cleaning protocols that will be followed daily by the staff, as well as nutritious meals served to the students to keep their health in top shape.
