Roswell City Hall and Hembree Road Facility
The city of Roswell and Georgia is slowly opening their public buildings a few at a time. The latest public buildings to be opened are the City Hall and the Roswell Hembree Road facilities. These buildings will be open starting June 15, 2020. Not unlike other businesses taking precautions, they will have regular hours with modification. Visitors must schedule a “walk-in appointment” before they get to their department destinations.

Health REquirements to Visit
To visit any of these public buildings, you must wear a mask or some sort or protective equipment covering your mouth and nose. People are encouraged to stay 6 feet apart, and to maintain cleanliness so that people are not exposed to the coronavirus – messages that have been resonating all across the State.
Roswell Community Development Department Exception
However, the Community Development Department is a little different. The department is located at the City Hall in Roswell, and handles requests for construction-related items like zoning and permits. This building is open from Monday through Friday and from 9AM until 4PM only. For those who do visit, the shortened hours will provide time for the staff to clean the areas with public access. Use of the online application process is encouraged over visiting the facility.
Roswell Municipal Court
Be aware that not all buildings are open again. The City of Roswell Municipal Court will have its opening day on the 22nd of this month – a week after the City Hall and Hembree Road facilities open. Check with Roswell’s city website to make sure that your location is open before taking the time to visit.
