June 2, 2020 is a day for Roswell residents to remember to take the trash in Georgia! COVID closed many government services, which included the Roswell Recycling Center and the City of Roswell Waste Management Pickup.

Starting on June 2, The Roswell Recycling Center will be open Tuesdays to Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM . However, there are still strict guidelines on how to navigate drop off of items, and avoid transmitting of the Coronavirus at the Roswell Recycling Center. Some restrictions include remaining in your vehicle at all times and having pre-sorted items. A full list of the limitations at the Roswell Recycling Center can be found HERE.

The City of Roswell Waste Management Pickup services has also restarted their large item pickups. Citizens of the City can schedule pickup for items such as swing sets, furniture, grills, and more. The full list can be found HERE. Large items cost $20 each, with a cap at 5 items per collection. Construction debris may not be a part of the large item pickup, and must be sent to a landfill. A list of the landfills for the City of Roswell can be found HERE.
To schedule a pickup for large items, you must call the Financial Services Division at 770-641-3759 to prepay for the service.
