Atlanta is the home of Hartsfield International Airport, and Delta Air Lines. However, did you know that there is an intriguing Delta Flight Museum tucked away near the airport? The museum is located at 1060 Delta Blvd, and can be a day trip for plane aficionados. The museum also serves as a venue for special events.

The museum’s hours are always changing, and visitors must be sure to check the Delta Flight Museum schedule before going. There are various discount rates available for groups such as Delta employees, and military personnel. Tickets cost $15 per adult and $10 for youth. Children 4 years old and younger are free.

Delta Air Lines Flight Museum is interactive, and gives visitors a chance to experience hands-on exhibits. The exhibits follow aviation history from the days of biplanes to current-day technology. A full 747 is open for tours, with cutaways to view the interior of the aircraft, and there is even a real flight simulator (for an extra fee).

For those who want to take part of their visit home, there is a small gift store at the end of the Delta Flight Museum. Purchase historic reproduction memorabilia and more at the store. See our Delta Flight Museum gallery for additional photos.
I am excited to attend.
