Selling and Buying Houses in the Atlanta Country Club
The Atlanta Country Club is a great neighborhood to sell or buy a house. The demand to live there with its prestigious address, as well as the bountiful amenities, make it a sought-after area for Atlanta area home buyers. A few of the lots are being sold as-is, torn down, and rebuilt with new construction. The rebuilding on lots shows that buyers are confident in the value of the Atlanta Country Club. However, most lots are demanding a higher price when tear-down is not a necessity.

Clubhouse
The Clubhouse was established after the Atlanta country Club was founded in the mid-1960’s. In 2017, the Clubhouse building was updated in the Atlanta Country Club’s “2017 Refresh” campaign. The Clubhouse is an impressive traditional, stone building with white columns and manicured landscaping. The interior is decorated in a polished, Southern style.

Membership
Residents
Membership to the Atlanta Country Club depends on residency and age. Any resident over the age of forty may vote, serve on the committees, and on the Board of Directors. They are “active”ACC members. On the other hand, “junior” ACC members are residents aged twenty-one to forty. These members do not have the right to vote. All resident Atlanta Country Club members have recreational privileges.
Non-residents
Another type of membership is the non-resident membership. Non-residents who reside within 100 miles, may also be members of the ACC. However, these members do not vote, nor do they serve on committees and the Board of Directors. However, all non-resident ACC members have recreational privileges. In addition, non-residents outside of a 100 mile radius may also be members. These members are therefore called “national” ACC members.
