Hot markets make bad agents. Typically, agents perform poorly when there are too many opportunities in the market that they become too busy to provide proper communication with their clients. It further reinforces the idea agents do not deserve the money that they are earning.
There are traits agents need to maintain. One of these is proper communication. As an agent, you need to keep your professionalism in check at all times and that includes replying to emails and returning phone calls. This does not only concern interactions with clients, but with fellow agents as well. Lastly, if you are a real-estate veteran, that’s not an excuse for sloppiness.
